Dr. Tosenovsky has rooms based in Hollywood Specialist Centre, operates in Hollywood Private, SJOG Subuaco, Joondalup Health Campus, Royal Perth Hospital, and consults also in Murdoch Clinic, SJOG Midland and North One Specialist Centre, Subiaco.
Diagnosis and treatment of all vascular diseases are offered with a focus on venous disorders including laser ablation, vein sclerotherapy, varicose vein surgery, vein angioplasty and stenting based on the severity of disease and patient’s needs. Other specialty treatments include aortic aneurisms, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot and leg ulcers.

AREAS OF PRACTICE
Dr Tosenovsky diagnoses and treats all vascular diseases, specialising in venous disorders. He provides comprehensive venous treatments including laser ablation, vein sclerotherapy, varicose vein surgery, vein angioplasty and stenting, based on the severity of disease and the patient’s needs. He also treats aortic aneurisms, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot and leg ulcers.

AORTIC ANEURYSM
An aortic aneurysm can occur in the chest (thoracic aortic aneurysm) or the abdomen (abdominal aortic aneurysm)

Arteriovenous Fistula or Vascular Access for Hemodialysis
An arteriovenous (AV) fistula is an abnormal connection between an artery and a vein.

Peripheral Arterial Disease
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a condition in which arteries in the legs, and less often elsewhere is blocked by plaque.

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)
TOS is a condition whereby symptoms are produced from compression of nerves or blood vessels (or both) due to an inadequate passageway through an outlet between the base of the neck and the armpit.

Varicose Veins and other Venous Disease
Varicose veins are superficial limb veins that have become stretched and swollen with blood.

Chronic venous disease (CVD) and Deep Vein Thrombosis
CVD covers the whole spectrum of venous disorders from small telangiectasia to the venous ulcer. The most common presentation is primary varicose veins.
THE DIABETIC FOOT AND ULCERS
Although preventable, all people with diabetes can develop foot ulcers and pain.

PELVIC CONGESTION SYNDROME
Pelvic pain, urinary urgency, vulvar varicose veins and many other symptoms can also be caused by enlarged vein in the pelvis.

What To Expect
Every patient seeking help in our rooms will be thoroughly clinically assessed first and the individual issues will be discussed. After the first appointment a working diagnosis will be made and further tests will be ordered for you.
At this stage you will go through a routine blood tests, medical imaging and then you will be seen by us again where the evidence based treatment will be offered, tailored for you and discussed with you and your family members if you wish.
Most vascular procedures require some follow up due to possible mid and long-term recurrence. We will make sure the follow up is friendly enough for you and not causing to much of disruption in your life and work. Some procedures are performed and you will not have to see us at all.
